BHARI Privacy Policy & Data Protection
Last Updated: October 2026 • Effective for all BHARI Customer, Partner, and Web Applications
1. Overview & Scope
BHARI Technologies ("BHARI", "we", "our", or "us") operates the on-demand heavy machinery, construction material, and logistics platform accessed via bhari.in, the Bhari Customer App, and the Bhari Partner App. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, mask, and safeguard personal and business data across our ecosystem.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Full name, verified mobile phone number (authenticated via TRAI DLT-compliant SMS OTP), company/business name, and equipment fleet details.
- Enquiry & Job Specifications: Required machinery category (JCB, Hydra Crane, Excavator, Dumper, etc.), required hire duration, delivery timeline, bucket size or jhula requirements, and construction site locality.
- Geolocation Data: Approximate coordinates (latitude/longitude) of the work site or equipment depot to calculate travel radiuses and match local service providers.
- Technical & Usage Logs: Device model, operating system version, IP address, and application performance metrics to maintain platform reliability.
3. PII Masking & Site Location Privacy
To protect customer privacy and prevent unsolicited spam, BHARI enforces strict privacy controls directly at the database and API level:
- Coordinate Fuzzing: Site coordinates for uncontacted leads are rounded to 2 decimal places (~1.1 km precision) in public and uncontacted partner feeds. Exact street addresses are never revealed publicly.
- Phone Number Masking: Customer phone numbers remain completely hidden (
XXXXXX1234) until a verified partner unlocks the enquiry through genuine platform credit redemption. - Radius Constraints: Active enquiry matching enforces a maximum search radius of 50 km to prevent unauthorized cross-state lead harvesting.
4. Automated Lead Retention & Lifecycle
Enquiries on BHARI have a strictly limited lifecycle:
- Active customer enquiries automatically expire after 7 days from creation.
- Once expired or fulfilled, leads are marked closed and removed from active partner notification feeds.
- Users may request permanent deletion of their account and historical enquiry logs at any time by contacting support.
5. Communications & DLT SMS Compliance
BHARI operates in strict compliance with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR). All transactional SMS messages, OTPs, and lead alerts are routed exclusively through registered DLT telecommunication gateways under approved Principal Entity IDs and Sender ID BHARIA.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to external advertisers. Data is shared exclusively under the following operational conditions:
- Between a customer and an equipment partner once mutual intent or contact unlocking occurs.
- With certified SMS gateway providers for OTP authentication.
- When strictly required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities under applicable Indian law.
7. Grievance Officer & Contact Information
If you have inquiries, complaints, or wish to exercise data rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), contact our dedicated support team:
